Fine Motor Skills & Handwriting

Fine motor skills and handwriting

Does your child have messy handwriting?

Do you or your loved one have difficulty catching a ball?

Do you or your loved one have coordination problems or appear clumsy?

Vision therapy can improve eye hand coordination by improving your control over the muscles that coordinate your eyes. If eye teaming, (convergence insufficiency or strabismus) are present, this causes a decrease in motor skills.

Practicing handwriting or athletic skills will only lead to frustration and tears if an underlying visual-motor problem is the cause.

By utilizing a step by step visual-motor program, you may improve handwriting, athletics, and coordination.

Please contact our office to schedule an evaluation to find out if your child may benefit from vision therapy.
